Sing Your Heart Out and Express Yourself

A group of friends singing karaokeKaraoke is a long-loved pastime by many people. Its fun and simple, and you do not have to hit every note; it is all about having a great time and enjoying yourself. Karaoke originally came from Japan, and it roughly translates into “empty orchestra.”

A Japanese musician invented it when he started to get tired of mastering one song after another for those who wanted to sing at a nightclub. Once he realized that he could play instrumentals of his songs so that the guests could still sing, he created the first-ever karaoke machine: the 8 Juke.

Shortly after that, karaoke machines and karaoke bars spread out to become a worldwide sensation. However, since the inventor did not patent his creation, many people were able to take his idea and make their own karaoke machines.
